Clarinet

Miguel Fernández de la Peña began developing the Suzuki Method™ on the Clarinet in 2012.

Since then, Miguel has collaborated with many teachers, clarinetists and saxophonists in Europe and the Americas.

In particular, he led the International Suzuki Association Clarinet Study Group, alongside Katherine Cook and Jennifer Willsea Branch, with whom he worked to finalise the definitive version of Suzuki Clarinet School, Volume One.

The adoption of the Clarinet as a new Suzuki instrument has been thoroughly pursued in accordance with the International Suzuki Association's established protocols for introducing new instruments.

Thanks to his work and the work of the Suzuki Clarinet Study Group, Miguel Fernández de la Peña was invited to become the first Suzuki Clarinet Instructor in July 2025.

If you are interested in learning the Suzuki Method™ for Clarinet, please contact Miguel Fernández

Please note - this search only finds Suzuki teachers that are interested in taking on new students. Not all ESA members are listed - some teachers have opted out.
