Further Teacher Training weekend in Germany

By Flora

23rd March 2026

From March 13–15, 2026, all participants in this year’s further teacher training enjoyed an interesting and productive weekend at the premises of the Hofer Symphoniker music school.

Helen Brunner (UK) led the training for the violin and viola teachers (assisted by Yoko Nijdam-Hoshino)

Annette Costanzi (UK) trained the cello teachers (assisted by Markus Jung

Sarah Hanley (UK) trained the flute teachers (assisted by Britta Roscher and Gerda Thorn)

Students from Hof and Bamberg made it possible to demonstrate and try out the Suzuki method in a setting as close to everyday life as possible. The music school office, led by administrative director Gabriele Jahn and her colleagues Marion Rauh and Sirarpi Samvelyan, actively supported the planning process as always and ensured that participants were comfortable and well-provided for with snacks and drinks throughout all three days.

On March 14–15, 2026, harp teachers interested in the Suzuki Method also gathered for the first time for an introductory course initiated by Regine Kofler (Holzkirchen) and expertly prepared by Ruth Munzert (Hofer Symphoniker), led by Tiziana Loi (IT).

A big thank you goes out to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this wonderful weekend!
