NORWAY holds its first PIANO Teacher Training Course'A dream come true' for Suzuki Piano Instructor Sigrun Landro Bekken after many years of waiting for a Piano Teacher Training Course to be held in Norway.
On October 22nd and 23rd 2011 in the studio of Sigrun Landro Bekken in Køfta not far from Gardermoen airoport in Norway, the first Piano Teacher Training Course in the country took place.
After many years of waiting and much work preparing, Norway was very proud and pleased to offer Teacher Training to its Suzuki Piano Teacher Trainees. The course was conducted by Piano Teacher Trainer Grant Mead who travelled from Great Britain to begin a series of teacher training courses in Norway.
The next course is scheduled for 3rd and 4th December 2011 with Piano Teacher Trainer Ruth Muira from Spain.
There is no point where we can say, "This is enough." Always seek finer music, finer performance. Eventually this will change from a learning attitude to a joyful quest which will last throughout our lives.
