Donations from private individuals, Suzuki associations and companies included the following: Donations 2007   £ Christine Magasiner 1,000 Jean Middlemiss 300 Playathon (Jenny Macmillan’s group) 333 Jane Sherwood Cello concert 67.50 European Suzuki Association 1,071     Total donations 2,821.50    Donations 2006   £ Lola Tavor 1,000 Jean Middlemiss 300 Christine Magasiner 750 Donations for Jenny Macmillan Birthday concert (many donors) 690 European Suzuki Association 5,821   8,581     Gift Aid on 2006 donations approx 485     Donations 2005   £ Donations in memory of Linda Collier 1,050 Jean Middlemiss 200 Christine Magasiner 1,000 Kasia Borowiak 150 Jean Middlemiss (Concert donation) 1,000 Donations in honour of Jean Middlemiss (many donors) 480 European Suzuki Association 4,483   8,363     Fundraising Memorial Concert 2004 On Sunday 26th September 2004, the family and friends of Linda Collier, a Suzuki parent and former treasurer of the British Suzuki Institute who had died suddenly earlier in the year, held a memorial concert in London.  Members of the audience made individual donations to the fund in memory of Linda Collier.  The family and friends who organised the events have expressed a wish to support Suzuki teaching projects in Eastern Europe.  At the end of 2004, donations received totalled £5,470.20.  The value of the donations was increased by the use of Gift Aid declarations by most of the donors.  Additional donations of £1,050 were received in January 2005.  The Trustees are very grateful to the Collier family, to all the friends who have made such generous donations and to the Suzuki teachers of Linda and Nick Collier’s three children.
