Fundraising Memorial Concert 2004
On Sunday 26th September 2004, the family and friends of Linda Collier, a Suzuki parent and former treasurer of the British Suzuki Institute who had died suddenly earlier in the year, held a memorial concert in London.  Members of the audience made individual donations to the fund in memory of Linda Collier.  The family and friends who organised the events have expressed a wish to support Suzuki teaching projects in Eastern Europe.  At the end of 2004, donations received totalled £5,470.20.  The value of the donations was increased by the use of Gift Aid declarations by most of the donors.  Additional donations of £1,050 were received in January 2005.

The Trustees are very grateful to the Collier family, to all the friends who have made such generous donations and to the Suzuki teachers of Linda and Nick Collier’s three children.
